亘以 (Spanning across: The fanqie 可鐙 [gèn]. The Yunying says: "亘 means to pass through." The Kaosheng says: "To traverse a long distance." The Mao commentary to the Classic of Poetry says: "All over." The Fangyan says: "To the end." It is also written as [百-日+(冉-十+(、/一/、))], which is an ancient character).
