鮮郁（上相延反廣雅鮮好也聲類新也案鮮鮮明也下於六反案鮮郁者妙花鮮明香氣郁遏之盛也論語云郁郁乎文哉）。

鮮郁 (Fresh and luxuriant: The upper character has the fanqie 相延 [xiān]. The Guangya says: "鮮 means good." The Shenglei says: "Fresh." Note that 鮮 means bright and fresh. The lower character has the fanqie 於六 [yù]. Note that 鮮郁 refers to wondrous blossoms being bright and fresh, their fragrance richly concentrated. The Analects says: "How richly patterned (yuyu)!" ).
