暎蔽（上於敬反考聲云暉也隱也韻英傍照也或作暎古字亦通下卑袂反韻英掩也考聲蔽瘴也前經第一卷兩字俱釋也）。

暎蔽 (Shading and obscuring: The upper character has the fanqie 於敬 [yìng]. The Kaosheng says: "Radiance; concealing." The Yunying says: "To shine sideways upon." It is also written as 暎; the ancient character is also interchangeable. The lower character has the fanqie 卑袂 [bì]. The Yunying says: "To cover." The Kaosheng says: "To block or screen." Both characters were already explained in the first roll of the preceding sūtra).
