惆悵（上敕周反下敕亮反廣雅惆痛也說文悵悵望也楚辭惆悵悲愁也蒼頡篇云惆悵失志也郭璞云惆悵猶懊惱也二字竝從心之也）。

惆悵 (The first character has the fanqie: 敕周; the second character has the fanqie: 敕亮. The Guangya says: "Chou (惆) means painful." The Shuowen says: "Chang (悵) means to gaze into the distance with disappointment." The Chuci says: "Chouchang (惆悵) means sorrowful and dejected." The Cangjie pian says: "Chouchang means to lose one's will." Guo Pu says: "Chouchang is like vexation." Both characters are formed with the heart radical).
