之愆（揭焉反考聲云愆失也說文過也從心衍聲也或作諐皆同也經多從二天作𠍴俗字也或作[羊*(巟-亡+口)]𲃌皆古字也）。

之愆 (fanqie: 揭焉. The Kaosheng says: "Qian (愆) means an error." The Shuowen says: "A fault." It takes the heart radical with the phonetic yan (衍). It is also written as 諐; both are the same. In the sūtras it is often written with two tian (天) as 𠍴, which is a vulgar character; or written as [羊*(巟-亡+口)] or 𲃌, both being ancient characters).
