懈怠（上革賣反下從奈反廣雅懈嬾也毛詩云夙夜匪懈是也字書云懈亦怠也前經第三已釋懈字）。

Indolence and laxity [懈怠] (the upper character is ge + mai fan [xie]; the lower character is cong + nai fan [dai]. The Guangya says: 'Xie means lazy.' The Mao Odes says: 'Early and late never lax'—this is it. Dictionaries say: 'Xie also means dai.' The character xie has already been explained in the third [fascicle] of the previous sūtra.)
