Precious casket [寶篋] (qing + jia fan [qie]. The Wenzi jilüe says: 'A type of chest.' The Gujin zhengzi says: 'Qie means a bamboo case.' The Yunying says: 'A chest or case.' Originally written as 匧; now the bamboo radical is added. In the Rites of Zhou it is a vessel for containing things; it is pronounced xian. The character qie has already been fully explained in fascicle three and fascicle one hundred twenty-eight of the sounds and meanings of the previous sūtra.)
