溉灌（上居氣反韻英澆也考聲漬也說文灌也從水既聲下官換反廣雅灌漬也注也韻英沃也說文從水雚聲雚音與上同）。

Irrigating and watering (溉灌: the upper character [溉] is pronounced *j[u]* + *[q]i* [gài]. The *Yunying* says: "To water." The *Kaosheng* says: "To soak." The *Shuowen [jiezi]* says: "To irrigate." It is classified under water (水) with *ji* (既) phonetic. The lower character [灌] is pronounced *g[uan]* + *[h]uan* [guàn]. The *Guangya* says: "*Guan* means to soak; to pour." The *Yunying* says: "To drench." The *Shuowen [jiezi]* says it is classified under water (水) with *guan* (雚) phonetic; the character *guan* (雚) has the same pronunciation as above).
