Gathered foam (聚沫: the first character, qing [情] + yu [喻] fan. The Kaosheng says: “To amass.” The Yunying says: “To assemble.” The Shuowen says: “To gather together; formed from 𠂢 with 取 phonetic.” 𠂢 has the sound yin [吟]. The second character, mo [摩] + bo [鉢] fan. The Yupian says: “Foam floating on water.” Zhuangzi says: “Bubbling water floating on water.” Formed from water [水] with 末 phonetic).
