頂戴（當載反賈逵注國語云戴奉也字書在𩠐曰戴劉歆云人所瞻戴也說文從異𢦏聲籀文作戴𢦏音宰來反）。

Crowning upon the head (頂戴; the second character has the fanqie 當 + 載. Jia Kui's commentary on the Guoyu states: 'Dài means to receive reverently.' The character dictionaries state: 'To carry on the head is called dài.' Liu Xin says: 'That which people revere and honour.' The Shuowen jiezi states: It is formed with the 'difference' radical [異] and takes zāi [𢦏] as its phonetic element; in the Great Seal script it is written as 戴; 𢦏 has the fanqie 宰 + 來).
