To mend and compile (修緝; the second character has the fanqie 侵 + 立. Zheng Xuan's gloss on the Shijing says: 'Qī means to continue.' The Erya states: 'To spin.' The Gujin zhengzi states: 'To continue.' It is formed with the 'silk' radical [糸] and takes qī [咠] as its phonetic element; 咠 has the same sound as above).
