恐悚（上驅拱反說文恐懼也從心巩聲也亦作𢖶下粟勇反杜注左傳云悚懼也說文作此愯亦懼也從心雙省聲字書亦作𢥠巩音拱）。

Terrified (恐悚: the first character is pronounced 驅拱 [kǒng]. The Shuowen says: "Fearful." It has the heart radical [心] and gǒng [巩] as phonetic. It is also written 𢖶. The second character is pronounced 粟勇 [sǒng]. Du's commentary on the Zuozhuan says: "Sǒng means terrified." The Shuowen writes it like this: 愯, also meaning "terrified"; it has the heart radical [心] and shuāng [雙] abbreviated as phonetic. Character books also write it as 𢥠. The character 巩 is pronounced gǒng).
