Cracking and splitting (𡍩裂: pronounced 恥格 [chè]. The Guangya says: "Chè means cracked and split." The Kaosheng says: "The ground cracking." The Shuowen has it with the earth radical [土] and chì [㡿] as phonetic. The character 㡿 is pronounced chì. It is also written with the hand radical as 坼).
