衣甲（上衣記反下古狎反鄭注周禮云甲今之鎧也說文云甲東方之孟陽氣萌動也從木載孚甲之象也太一經云頭冝為甲甲象人頭也經文作鉀非也）。

衣甲 (The first character has the fanqie 衣記. The second has the fanqie 古狎. Zheng's commentary on the *Rites of Zhou* says: "Jia (甲) is what is nowadays called kǎi (鎧, armour)." The *Shuowen jiezi* says: "Jia is the beginning of the East, when the yang qi sprouts and stirs. It derives from 'tree' (木) bearing the shape of a husk or seed-coat (孚甲)." The *Taiyi jing* says: "The head should be considered as jia; jia resembles a human head." The sūtra text writing 鉀 is incorrect).
