吸欱（上歆邑反鄭箋詩云吸猶引也廣雅飲也說文內息也從口及聲亦作歙經本作噏非也下呼蛤反說文云欱歠也從欠合聲經本作哈通俗字）。

吸欱 (The first character has the fanqie 歆邑. Zheng's subcommentary on the *Shijing* says: "Xī (吸) is like drawing in (引)." The *Guangya* says: "To drink (飲)." The *Shuowen jiezi* says: "Inhaling breath; it derives from 'mouth' (口) with 及 as the phonetic; also written as 歙." The sūtra originally wrote 噏, which is incorrect. The second character has the fanqie 呼蛤. The *Shuowen jiezi* says: "Hē (欱) means to slurp (歠); it derives from 'yawn' (欠) with 合 as the phonetic." The sūtra originally wrote 哈, which is an acceptable popular character).
