[(土/儿/夕)*力]辱（力澄反杜注左傳陵侮也今經文從阜作陵丘陵字也或作淩水名亦非也）。

To insult and humiliate (夌辱: the upper character has the fanqie lì + chéng [líng]; Du's commentary on the Zuo zhuan states: 'Líng means to insult'; the present sūtra text writes it with 阜 as 陵, which is the character for mounds and hills; it is also written as 淩, the name of a river, which is likewise incorrect).
