鉞斧（上袁厥反古者君及大將執之以威眾以黃金飾之謂之黃鉞說文大斧從戊戊聲蒼頡篇從金作鉞篆文本作戊戊音厥也）。

鉞斧 "Battle-axes" (The first character is pronounced yuan-jue [yue]. In ancient times, rulers and great generals held it to command awe over the multitude; decorated with gold, it is called the yellow battle-axe (huangyue). The Shuowen jiezi says: "A large axe; formed from 戊 with 戊 as phonetic." The Cangjie pian writes it with 金 as 鉞. In seal script, the original form was 戊; 戊 is pronounced jue).
