撾打（[((又*又)/夕)*鳥]瓜反考聲云檛擊也馬策也說文作𥬸捶也從竹朵聲朵音都果反打音德冷反廣雅擊也埤蒼棓也從手丁聲也）。

撾打 "Strike and beat" (The first character is pronounced [fanqie] ...-gua [zhua]. The Kaosheng says: "撾 means to strike; a horse whip." The Shuowen jiezi writes 𥬸: "To beat; formed from 竹 'bamboo' with 朵 as phonetic; 朵 is pronounced du-guo." 打 is pronounced de-leng [da]. The Guangya says: "To strike." The Picang says: "A club; formed from 手 'hand' with 丁 as phonetic").
