𠶺噎（甖綆反考聲云氣塞也韻詮云噎也下煙結反毛詩傳云憂不能息也說文食在喉不下也𠶺噎者悲嘆之嗚噎也）。

Gasping and choking with sobs (𠶺噎: [𠶺 is] *'(eng)* + *k(eng)* in fanqie. The Kaosheng says: 'Obstruction of breath.' The Yunquan says: 'To choke.' The second [character] is *'(en)* + *k(et)* in fanqie. The Mao Shi zhuan says: 'So distressed that one cannot breathe.' The Shuowen says: 'Food lodged in the throat unable to go down.' 𠶺噎 refers to the choked sobbing of mournful lamentation.)
