迦蘭多迦（薑佉反古譯云迦蘭陀夷或云羯蘭鐸迦並訛也正梵音羯嬾䭾迦大竹園名也在王舍城側輔近南山之陰說此經之處也）。

Kalandaka (迦蘭多迦: pronounced [薑 + 佉] k-ā [kā]. Older translations give Kalandayi or Karandaka, which are both erroneous. The correct Sanskrit sound is Kalandaka, the name of the Great Bamboo Grove situated near Rājagṛha, adjacent to the northern slope of the southern mountain; it is the location where this sūtra was preached).
