癰瘡（紆𦮕反莊子云瘭疽疥癰司馬彪云浮熱為瘭不通為癰說文腫也從疒雝聲雝音同上下測㽵反前己具釋瘭音匹遙反疽音七余反疥音介）。

癰瘡 (ulcers and sores: [the upper character] has the fanqie yu + rong. The Zhuangzi says: 'Pustules, boils, scabs, and ulcers.' Sima Biao says: 'Superficial heat causes pustules; blockage causes ulcers.' The Shuowen says: 'A swelling.' It is formed with the 'sickness' semantic classifier and the yong (雝) phonetic component. 雝 has the same pronunciation. The lower character has the fanqie ce + zhuang; it has already been explained in detail previously. The character biao (瘭) has the fanqie pi + yao. The character ju (疽) has the fanqie qi + yu. The character jie (疥) is pronounced jie).
