途跣（上度都反毛詩云途道也亦泥也說文從辵余聲下先典反尚書云若跣不視地厥足用傷說文足𭣋地也從足先聲）。

Barefoot on the road (途跣: the upper [character has the fanqie] 度都反. The Mao Poetry says: '途 means road; it also means mud.' The Shuowen [says it is] composed of 辵 with 余 phonetic. The lower [character has the fanqie] 先典反. The Shangshu says: 'If one walks barefoot without watching the ground, one's foot will be hurt.' The Shuowen says: 'The foot bare against the ground.' Composed of 足 with 先 phonetic).
