懈墮（上革賣反考聲懈怠也賈注國語云懈倦也俗音嫁者非也前後經文懈字悉同此音下徒臥反說文不敬也從土隋聲春秋傳曰執玉者墮也）。

Indolent and remiss (懈墮: the upper character has the fanqie gé + mài [xiè]; Kaosheng says: 'Indolent and slack'; Jia's commentary on the Guoyu states: 'Xiè means weary'; the popular pronunciation jià is incorrect; throughout the sūtra texts the character 懈 always has this same pronunciation. The lower character has the fanqie tú + wò [duò]; Shuowen jiezi says: 'Disrespectful; derived from 土 "earth" with 隋 phonetic'; the Chunqiu commentary states: 'Those who hold the jade are remiss (duò)').
