幖幟（上必遙反廣雅云幖幡也說文幖亦幟也從巾票聲票音同上下昌志反韻詮云幟旗也以表物集訓云幟亦幡也從巾戠聲戠音織）。

幖幟 [Banners and signs] (The upper character is bǐ plus yáo fanqie. The Guangya states: "Biāo means a pennon." The Shuowen states: "Biāo also means a banner; it derives from 巾 [cloth] with 票 as phonetic; the sound of 票 is the same as the upper character." The lower character is chāng plus zhì fanqie. The Yunquan states: "Zhì means a flag; it is used to mark objects." The Jixun states: "Zhì also means a pennon; it derives from 巾 [cloth] with 戠 as phonetic; the sound of 戠 is zhì").
