斟一杓（上章林反說文云斟酌也從斗甚聲下常弱反文字典說云有抦木器也考聲云今之杯杓也說文作勺今承從木作杓時用字）。

斟一杓 [Pouring a ladleful] (The upper character is zhāng plus lín fanqie. The Shuowen states: "Zhēn means to pour and measure; it derives from 斗 [dipper] with 甚 as phonetic." The lower character is cháng plus ruò fanqie. The Wenzidian shuo states: "A wooden vessel with a handle." The Kaosheng states: "The cups and ladles of today." The Shuowen writes it as 勺; nowadays following convention it is written with the wood radical as 杓, a commonly used character).
