Fūcòu [膚腠, the skin and pores] (The first character has the fanqie fǔ + wú; the second has the fanqie cū + dòu. Zheng [Xuan's] commentary on the Yili states: 'Còu [腠] are the striations of the skin.' The Zitong has the same meaning. It is formed from the flesh radical with zòu 奏 as phonogram).
