Relying on shrimp (以蝦) (fanqie: 嚇加反. Gu Yewang says: “蝦 is a creature with a large head.” The Shuowen jiezi writes it as 鰕, stating: “It is a crustacean; it takes 魚 [fish] as its semantic component and 叚 as its phonetic component.” The jellyfish resembles a human lung and originates in the sea; having no eyes, it uses shrimp as its eyes. If there are shrimp leaping upon it, it moves; this does not refer to toads).
