魃鬼（上盤末反毛詩傳云魃旱神也說文亦旱鬼也周禮有赤犮[病-丙+嗇]屋之物鬽也從鬼犮聲也）。

Drought demon (魃鬼) (the first character has the fanqie 盤末反. The Mao Commentary says: “魃 is the spirit of drought.” The Shuowen jiezi likewise says: “It is the drought demon.” The Zhouli mentions the red-haired demon (chifa), an evil creature haunting houses. It takes 鬼 [ghost] as its semantic component and 犮 as its phonetic component).
