[(魅-ㄙ)-未+(网-(ㄨ*ㄨ)+又)]魎（上音𠕀下音兩國語云水恠也淮南子云狀如三歲小兒赤黑色赤目赤爪長耳美髮說文作[虫*(网-(ㄨ*ㄨ)+又)]蜽云山川之精物也並從虫𠕀兩皆聲也）。

[(魅-ㄙ)-未+(网-(ㄨ*ㄨ)+又)]魎 (The first character is pronounced 𠕀 [wǎng], the second is pronounced 兩 [liǎng]. The Guoyu states: 'Monsters of the waters.' The Huainanzi states: 'Its form is like that of a three-year-old child, reddish-black, with red eyes, red claws, long ears, and fine hair.' The Shuowen jiezi writes it as [虫*(网-(ㄨ*ㄨ)+又)]蜽, stating: 'Spirits and goblins of mountains and rivers.' Both are formed from 虫 [creature], with 𠕀 and 兩 as phonetics).
