三膲（子遙反白虎通六府有三膲腎之府也腎主寫三膲亦以湊液吐故也上膲若霧中膲若漏下膲若瀆經文作焦燒餘也焦非字義）。

三膲 (Pronounced with the fanqie 子遙 [jiāo]. The Bohu tong states: 'Among the six bowels there is the triple burner, which is the repository of the kidneys. The kidneys govern discharge, and the triple burner is also used to gather bodily fluids and expel waste. The upper burner is like a mist, the middle burner is like a froth, and the lower burner is like a ditch.' The sūtra text writes it as 焦, meaning scorched remains; 焦 is not the correct character).
