鞠育（詩云母兮鞠我傳曰鞠養也方言陳楚之間謂養為鞠又掬同居六反說文掬撮也）。

鞠育 (The Shijing states: 'O mother who reared me.' The commentary states: '鞠 means to nurture.' The Fangyan states: 'Between the regions of Chen and Chu, nurturing is called 鞠.' It is also read the same as 掬, with the fanqie 居六 [jū]. The Shuowen jiezi states: '掬 means to grasp with both hands').
