險阻（上[刀/(刀*刀)/肉]撿反下側旅反顧野王云險難也郭註爾雅阻亦險難也說文並從𨸏僉且皆聲經從山作嶮岨非也僉音妾閻反且音即余反）。

Dangerous and obstructed (險阻: the first character is pronounced with the fanqie [刀/(刀*刀)/肉] + 撿 [xiǎn]; the second character is pronounced with the fanqie 側 + 旅 [zǔ]; Gu Yewang says *xian* (險) means arduous and difficult; Guo Pu's commentary on the *Erya* says *zu* (阻) also means arduous and difficult; the *Shuowen jiezi* says both take the semantic radical 𨸏 [mound], with 僉 [qiān] and 且 [zǔ] as their respective phonetics; the sūtra writes them with the radical 山 [mountain] as 嶮岨, which is incorrect; 僉 is pronounced with the fanqie 妾 + 閻 [qiān], and 且 is pronounced with the fanqie 即 + 余 [jū]).
