囚縶 [Imprison and fetter] (the second character is pronounced with the fanqie zhēn + lì [zhí]. The commentary to the Mao Classic of Poetry states: "Zhí means to tether." Du's commentary on the Zuo zhuan states: "To arrest and bind." The Gujin zhengzi states: "It takes 'mì' (糸) as its semantic classifier and 'zhí' (執) as its phonetic component." It is sometimes written as '𮩸', which is an ancient character).
