龜鼉 (fanqie 徒 + 多; the Sancang states: "Resembles a jiao-dragon but is larger." The Shanhaijing states: "The Jiang River abounds in tuó." Guo Pu states: "Resembles a lizard; large ones are one zhang long, with patterned scales, and can be used to make drums." The sūtra text writes it with 魚 as 𩵔, which is incorrect).
