蟲蝗（胡光胡孟二反螽也謂蝗蟲也小曰蝩大曰蝗云魚子所化作也蝩音鍾經文作蟥非體也）。

蟲蝗 (two fanqie readings: 胡 + 光 and 胡 + 孟; grasshoppers; referring to locusts. Small ones are called 蝩 and large ones are called 蝗; it is said that they are transformed from fish roe. 蝩 is pronounced 鍾. The sūtra text writes 蟥, which is not the proper form).
