蝯猴（又作猨同禹煩反似彌猴而大臂長其色有黑有黃鳴聲甚哀五百歲化為玃壽千歲玃音居縛反）。

Gibbon and macaque (蝯猴: [蝯] is also written 猨, identical; yu plus fan fanqie [yuán]. It resembles a macaque but is larger, with long arms; its color is either black or yellow, and its crying call is very mournful. At five hundred years it transforms into a jue [玃], which lives for a thousand years. Jue is ju plus fu fanqie [jué]).
