質物（真曰反杜注左傳質信也廣雅質猶軀也說文以物相贅從斦從貝經作䞃寫誤也撿諸字書並無此字贅音之稅反斦音魚斤反）。

質物 [Pawned goods] (fanqie: 真 + 曰. Du Yu's commentary on the Zuo Zhuan says: “質 means trust.” The Guangya says: “質 is like substance.” The Shuowen jiezi says: “To pledge things mutually; classified under the radical 斦 and 貝.” In the sūtra it is written as 䞃, which is a scribal error; upon checking various character dictionaries, none contain this character. 贅 has the fanqie: 之 + 稅; 斦 has the fanqie: 魚 + 斤).
