[曰/見]死（莫勒反說文[曰/見]突前也國語戎狄[曰/見]沒輕儳賈逵曰[曰/見]沒猶輕觸也字體從曰從見曰音茫報反今皆作[曰/月]案冐亡報反[曰/月]覆也蒙也[曰/月]貪也）。

Braving death ([曰/見]死: mo and le fan; the Shuowen jiezi says: '[曰/見] means to rush forward blindly'; the Guoyu says: 'The Rong and Di charge recklessly into destruction and are heedless and arrogant', where Jia Kui says: '[曰/見]沒 is like heedlessly clashing'; the character is composed of 曰 and 見; 曰 is mang and bao fan; now generally written [曰/月]; noting that 冐 is wang and bao fan; [曰/月] means to cover or obscure; [曰/月] also means greed).
