Tuanjie 摶𢧵 ([the former is pronounced with the] fanqie 徒官 [tú + guān/*duân/tuán]. The Tongsu wen says: 'Rolling with the hands into a ball is called tuan 摶.' The Shuowen says: 'Tuan 摶 means round.' The Shenglei says: 'Tuan 摶 means to seize.' The Zilin gives tuan 摶 as the tuan 摶 of tuanzhu 摶[式-工+圭], pronounced with the fanqie 杜丸 [dù + wán/*duân/tuán]. In the treatise text it is written as chuai 揣, [with the two fanqie readings] 初委 [chū + wěi/*tṣʰwiě/chuǐ] and 都果 [dū + guǒ/*tuɑ/duǒ], meaning to measure or estimate; chuai 揣 is not the correct word sense or sound).
