祈請（渠衣反廣雅祈求也尒雅祈告也叫也郭璞曰祈祭者叫呼而請事也孫炎曰祈為民求福叫告辭也）。

Qi qing 祈請 (entreating and requesting: qi is qu + yi fan; Guangya states: "Qi means to seek." Erya states: "Qi means to report; to cry out." Guo Pu says: "Those who perform sacrificial prayer (qi) cry aloud to entreat matters." Sun Yan says: "Qi means entreating blessings on behalf of the people and reciting a prayer of address").
