深峭（今作陗或作悄同且蘸反廣雅峭急也通俗文峻阪曰峭山陵險陖亦謂之峭）。

深峭 [steep and precipitous] (now written as 陗 or written as 悄; the same; [pronounced with the] fanqie 且蘸 [qiào]; the Guangya says: '峭 means abrupt/steep'; the Tongsu wen says: 'A steep slope is called 峭; precarious and towering mountains and hills are also called 峭').
