純淑（時均反尚書政事唯純孔安國曰純粹也謂專精純一也尒雅純大也方言純好也淑時六反詩傳曰淑美也善也或作熟方言爓熟也）。

Pure and good [純淑] (fanqie: 時均 [chún]; the Shangshu says: "Government affairs should be only pure [純]"; Kong Anguo says: "純 means unadulterated, meaning dedicated, refined, and uniform." The Erya says: "純 means great." The Fangyan says: "純 means good." 淑 has the fanqie 時六 [shū]; the Shijing commentary says: "淑 means fine, good." It is sometimes written as 熟; the Fangyan says: "熟 means well-cooked").
