伯仲（謂兄弟也尒雅伯長也舍人曰伯位之長也韓詩仲中也言位在中也禮記幼名冠字五十為伯仲周道釋名云伯把也把持家政也）。

Eldest and second brothers (伯仲: referring to brothers. The Erya says: 'Bó (伯) is the eldest.' Sheren says: 'Bó is the senior in position.' The Han Shi says: 'Zhòng (仲) is middle; meaning the position is in the middle.' The Liji says: 'When young one is named; at capping one is styled; at fifty one is addressed by bó or zhòng—this was the Zhou practice.' The Shiming says: 'Bó (伯) is bǎ (把, to hold); holding the administration of the household').
