洲潬（徒亶反爾雅云潬沙出郭璞曰今江東呼水內沙堆為潬洛陽北河中有中潬城是也論文作埏音延八埏之地也亦埏道也埏非此用）。

洲潬 [sandbank in a river] (pronounced with the fanqie 徒 + 亶 [dàn]. The *Erya* states: '潬 refers to sand emerging.' Guo Pu says: 'Now in Jiangdong, sandbars in the water are called 潬; the Zhongdan City in the river north of Luoyang is an example.' The treatise text writes it as 埏, pronounced yán, referring to the lands of the 'eight boundaries' or an underground pathway to a tomb; 埏 is not used in this sense).
