煥爛（上歡貫反下闌且反論語煥乎其有文章也方言云火熟曰爛考聲云煥爛並光明也古今正字並從火奐闌皆聲也）。

煥爛 (brilliant and splendid; the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 歡 and 貫 [=huàn]. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 闌 and 且 [=làn]. The Lunyu says: 'How brilliant (煥) was the cultural splendor of his achievements!' The Fangyan says: 'When cooked by fire it is called 爛.' The Kaosheng says: '煥 and 爛 both mean bright and luminous.' The Gujin zhengzi states that both take 火 as semantic component, with 奐 and 闌 as phonetic components).
