遞共（提禮反郭注爾雅云更易也楚辭云四時遞來而卒歲考聲云遞代也或作递說文從辵虒聲也辵音丑略反虒音斯也）。

遞共 (alternately together; pronounced with the fanqie 提 and 禮 [=dì]. Guo's commentary to the Erya says: 'To exchange / alternate.' The Chuci says: 'The four seasons alternately arrive and the year concludes.' The Kaosheng says: '遞 means to substitute.' Sometimes written as 递. The Shuowen jiezi states that it takes 辵 as semantic component and 虒 as phonetic component. 辵 is pronounced with the fanqie 丑 and 略 [=chuò]; 虒 is pronounced 斯 [=sī]).
