摩怛理迦（梵言都達反舊云摩德伽亦言摩夷此云行母亦云本母云行境界謂起行所依能生行故也）。

Mātṛkā (Sanskrit; fanqie: 都 + 達 [d- + -at → dat]; formerly called *modega* [mātṛkā] or *moyi*, translated here as "mother of conduct" or "original matrix"; it refers to the sphere of conduct, because it is that upon which the arising of conduct relies and it can generate conduct).
