懈怠（上佳邂反賈注國語云懈倦也廣雅懈嬾也說文亦怠也從心解聲經作𢢣亦通也）。

懈怠 [indolence] (the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 佳 + 邂 [xiè]. Jia Kui's commentary on the *Guoyu* states: '懈 means weary.' The *Guangya* states: '懈 means lazy.' The *Shuowen* states: 'It also means slack; classified under the radical 心 with 解 as its phonetic component.' The sūtra writes it as 𢢣, which is also acceptable).
