Concealed crossbow (伏弩: [伏 has] the fanqie 扶 + 福 [fú]; [弩 has] the fanqie 奴 + 古 [nǔ]. It shoots from a hidden position. In the Hanshu: 'Emperor Gaozu was hit in the chest but claimed his toe was struck,' which refers to this).
