奈苑（上奴大反即天竺波羅奈國也下宛遠反即此國中有鹿野苑綴序文者略去繫言故云奈苑也）。

奈苑 [Nai Park (Vārāṇasī Park)] (The first character is n- + [d]a [-> nai], which refers to Vārāṇasī country in India. The second character is w- + [y]uan [-> wan], rising tone, which refers to the Deer Park in this country. The composer of the preface abbreviated the name by omitting characters, hence calling it 'Naiyuan').
